I have written this article because I wanted to take a look at some of the players that could do well in Grand Slams this year other than Rodger Federer and Rafael Nadal because they have dominated the game for so long.
5. Stefanos Tsitsipas
Stefanos Tsitsipas is a Greek tennis player ranked 8th in the world. He is the youngest player in the top 10 tennis players in the Association of Tennis Professionals at 20 years old. On January 20th 2019 he knocked Roger Federer out of the Australian Open but was later beaten by Rafael Nadal in the Semi-Finals.
4. Kevin Anderson
Kevin Anderson is a South African tennis player ranked 6th in the world aged 32. When Anderson was 17 he entered his first professional tournament winning 4 main draw matches. In 2008 Anderson became the highest ranked South African player after reaching the final of the Tennis Channel Open in Las Vegas.
3. Dominic Thiem
Dominic Thiem is an Austrian professional tennis player with a career high ranking of world number 4 but is rated world number 5 at the moment and is aged 25. In 2018 Thiem reached the final of the French Open which was his first ever Grand Slam Final ever. In 2019 Thiem won his first ever ATP title at the Indian Wells tournament.
2. Alexander Zverev
Alexander Zverev is a German tennis player of Russian descent ranked 4th in the world aged 22. At 20 years old Zverev was the youngest player to debut in the top 20 since Novak Djokovic in 2006. Zverev made his Davis Cup debut in 2016 he played against Tomáš Berdych which he lost in five sets.

Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player currently ranked number 1 in the world aged 31. Djokovic holds 15 Grand slam titles the most recent of which was the Australian Open which he won against Rafael Nadal. Djokovic has won a record 7 Australian Open titles. He is thought of as one of the greatest players of all time.
